I love Steve and Olivia, and the Farmer and the Cook. They brought their organic and delicious foods to the California Organic Festival in Santa Barbara (that our organization PAAC produced). They were the sensation of the Festival with their wonderful coconut drinks and specialty dishes! Olivia and Steve bring us organic farming, and the best foods made from live, fresh and healthful produce. Our communities are so lucky to have them here. We appreciate and support them!

This is thee coolest place! Like stepping back in time. Not to many places like this around anymore. They have the best Chai tea I have ever tasted. I have tried and tried to duplicate it.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, come from 5:30- 8:30 for Farmer and the Cook's Pizza Cafe. You will find a full menu of all-organic pizzas, pastas, mexican dishes, appetizers, salads from our farm, and desserts. Enjoy the live and local entertainment, as well as beer and wine.

The Farmer and the Cook has rapidly become a community center for Ojai (and especially Meiners Oaks). The daily specials are always healthy, organic and delicious.

This all-organic cafe and market offers a bountiful salad bar, soups, veggie burgers and a daily special which might be pizza, corn tamale, nut loaf or Indian coconut curry. The Farmer and the Cook was created by activist/farmer, Steve Sprinkel and cook/dietician, Olivia Chase in order to make "5 a Day" a possibility. Their nearby farm provides most of the vegetables and the clientele promises to be just as colorful. Open 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Saturday and 9 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
